Magicians-- Wizards or Weirdos?

It's a Saturday morning. The sun's shining and the mood is high. I head to a local restaurant with a group of friends to celebrate such a beautiful day with a fun brunch. We pull in, head inside, sit down, and order our food. Everything is completely, 100% normal.  Until.  A man approaches our table, not a waiter or a host, just another customer. He swiftly presents to us a deck of cards and offers to show us magic--real, true magic. How could we deny that! After around 30 minutes of card trick after card trick I got to thinking, how the heck is he doing all this? It was impressive, entertaining, and made for a unique brunch.  Preface--I consider myself a averagely smart person. I like to figure out things. But even after 30 minutes of card tricks, I couldn't figure the magician man out. He had me utterly and completely stumped. His tricks were fluid and executed with ease. A Look Into Tarot Cards

With a quick google search I was able to find hundreds of in-person and online stores that I could purchase tarot cards at this very moment. Places like Urban Outfitters and Neiman Marcus were in the slew of retailers. How could something thats supposedly so magically and could write literally tell me my future be sold at a teenager's favorite shop at the mall?  To get down to the basics, Tarot Cards are a pack of playing cards that originated in 15th century Europe. They consist of 78 cards total. This is further divided into two parts: The Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. The major deal with more universal, macro-scale things it seems, while the minor deal with the more day to day occurrences.  While trying to fully research what t he purpose of tart cards really is, I kept running into mixed opinions.
